Every year, 100.000 children go missing in the EU. AMBER Alert Europe aims for #zeromissingkids by preventing children from going missing or bringing them home safely.
Together we are creating a safer environment for children
Within our network of NGOs, law enforcement partners, governments, and businesses, we work together to improve the search for and the protection of missing children across Europe. Every year, 100.000 children go missing in the EU.
Preparing and launching prevention and awareness-raising activities, providing training to professionals, executing research and studies, and improving cooperation with partners and stakeholders at national and international level.
Tackling the issue of missing children is a joint effort of all stakeholders at national and European level. Such cooperation will help prevent children from going missing and will ensure that appropriate action is taken when a child is reported missing.
With your help we can make a difference in the search for and protection of missing children.
The AMBER Alert Europe Foundation initiated the Police Expert Network on Missing Persons (PEN-MP), a network of law enforcement experts in the field of missing persons from all over Europe. PEN-MP is now officially affiliated with the Law Enforcement Working Party (LEWP) of the Council of the European Union.
