Every year, 300.000 children go missing in Europe. We aim for #zeromissingkids by preventing children from going missing or bringing them home safely.
Together we are creating a safer environment for children
Within our network of NGOs, law enforcement partners, governments, and businesses, we work together to improve the search for and the protection of missing children across Europe.
Preparing and launching prevention and awareness-raising activities, providing training to professionals, executing research and studies, and improving cooperation with partners and stakeholders at national and international level.
Tackling the issue of missing children is a joint effort of all stakeholders at national and European level. Such cooperation will help prevent children from going missing and will ensure that appropriate action is taken when a child is reported missing.
With your help we can make a difference in the search for and protection of missing children.
The Police Expert Network on Missing Persons (PEN-MP) is the official European missing persons police network consisting of police experts in the field of missing persons from all over Europe. The network was initiated by the AMBER Alert Europe foundation and is now officially affiliated with the Law Enforcement Working Party (LEWP) of the Council of the European Union.
The PEN-MP brings together over 80 law enforcement experts from 34 EU and non-EU countries. The goal of the PEN-MP is to bring together law enforcement experts in the field of missing persons. The PEN-MP enables fast and direct cross-border cooperation and communication between law enforcement experts in missing person cases. It also provides specialist support, advice, and training to participating law enforcement authorities.
