Prevention sessions at schools

In 2022, we launched a pilot project aimed at empowering children and strengthening their resilience against the risks of going missing, abduction, and online dangers. The workshops, held at elementary schools across the Netherlands, reached children aged 11-12, providing them with essential tools to protect themselves from physical and online threats, including online grooming. The interactive sessions also gave the children the opportunity to voice their opinions on topics they felt were important.

Following the success of the pilot, we made the project freely available to Dutch elementary schools digitally. This initiative was made possible by the generous sponsorship of Janivo, whose support helped bring this important program to life.
