Prevention sessions at schools

To empower children and make them more resilient against going missing or an abduction, we started a pilot project with prevention sessions in primary schools in 2022. Within the pilot project, we gave a workshop to children aged 11 – 12 in which they received tools to protect themselves against going missing or an abduction and online dangers such as online grooming. During an interactive group session, the children were also able to give their input on topics they think are important.

After a successful pilot, the project was made digitally freely available to Dutch elementary schools here.
