On Monday, January 8th, an AMBER Alert was issued for a 17-year-old boy from Thessaloniki, Greece. The boy has now been found alive and well.

AMBER ALERT HELLAS is the National Coordination Program, which promptly and validly notifies the public on the disappearance/abduction of minors. It is activated by the organization “The Smile of the Child” by approval of the Hellenic Police. When an AMBER Alert is issued in Greece, the Greek Police inform the public via posters, SMS, social media, radio, TV and highway signs.
