On Thursday, April 27th, an AMBER Alert was issued for a 6-year old girl from Agia Varvara, Greece. The alert was cancelled the next day as the child was found deceased. The father of the girl has admitted murdering his daughter. 

AMBER ALERT HELLAS is the National Coordination Program, which promptly and validly notifies the public on the disappearance/abduction of minors. It is activated by the organization “The Smile of the Child” by approval of the Hellenic Police. When an AMBER Alert is issued in Greece, the Greek Police inform the public via posters, SMS, social media, radio, TV and highway signs.
