Charlie Hedges, Coordinator Police Expert Network for AMBER Alert Europe, has been accepted as Member of the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire (MBE) for his tireless efforts in the protection of endangered missing children. The MBE was awarded by Queen Elizabeth II at Windsor Castle in Windsor (United Kingdom) on Friday 16 October 2015.
Charlie Hedges has been appointed by Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II as MBE. The Honour recognises Mr. Hedges’ commitment for his services to law enforcement, particularly in the field of Missing Children. In his career he has helped to shape policy and strategy in this area, working for the Child Exploitation and Online Protection Centre (CEOP), National Crime Agency (NCA), and UK Police Forces.
The MBE is awarded for a significant achievement or outstanding service to the community and service that stands out as an example to other people.
