The AMBER Alert (Alerte Enlèvement) that had been issued by the French Police on May 29th 2016 has been cancelled. The three children (10, 6 and 5 years old) have been found safe and well.
The children, 2 boys and a girl disappeared in Pontcharra-sur-Turdine (near Rhône, France) on Sunday morning after their mother was murdered. The police suspected the children’s father was behind the murder and the abduction. Within two hours after the AMBER Alert was issued, the children were found in good health in Villeurbanne. The French police arrested the 45 year old father of the children (source: Metronews, Le Monde, Europe1).
