Today (November 14th), AMBER Alert Europe, is hosting the ‘Search methods for missing persons: Searched for and not found, what’s next?’ webinar in collaboration with the European Union Agency for Law Enforcement Training CEPOL. This informative session will provide law enforcement officers from across Europe with valuable insights into the intricate realm of missing persons.
During this webinar, AMBER Alert Europe’s training coordinator Carlo Schippers, former Dutch Law Enforcement, and specialist on missing persons, will talk about challenges faced when the initial search for a missing person proves unsuccessful.
By the end of this webinar, law enforcement officials will be able to:
- List the challenges in the cases when the initial search for a missing person is not successful and the missing person couldn’t be located;
- Recognise how to deal with and investigate missing person cases, especially when investigational legal options are limited, because indications of a crime are absent.
