Launch AMBER Alert Malta: “Help us save a missing child’s life”

Yesterday, January 10th, 2017, AMBER Alert Malta was launched by the Ministry of Home Affairs and National Security and Police Force in Malta. Carmelo Abela, Minister for Home Affairs and National Security: “A single missing, endangered child is one too many (…) Please help us save a missing child’s life.”

“I ecourage stakeholders to join AMBER Alert Malta to help the Police relay alerts to the public, to join this deserving initiative”, minister Abela continued. Additionally, he urged European Union Member States, that have not yet adopted an AMBER Alert system, to do so immediately to ensure that as many missing or abducted children as possible are recovered safely.
