UPDATE: AMBER Alert for Greek sisters cancelled

On June 28th, an AMBER Alert was issued for two sisters, aged 14 and 11, from Athens, Greece. The girls were found safe and sound the same day.

AMBER Alerts in Greece
AMBER Alert Hellas is the Greek National Coordination Program, which promptly and validly notifies the public on the disappearance/abduction of minors. It is activated by the Organization “The Smile of the Child” by approval of the Hellenic Police. When an AMBER Alert in Greece is issued, the Greek Police informs the public via posters, SMS text messages, social media, radio, TV and highway signs.
