UPDATE: Greek AMBER Alert for 16-year-old girl from Athens cancelled – girl found in good health

On Friday, 9 February 2018, an AMBER Alert was issued for a 16-year-old girl from Athens, Greece. The girl has now been found alive and well.

AMBER ALERT HELLAS is the National Coordination Program, which promptly and validly notifies the public on the disappearance/abduction of minors. It is activated by the organization “The Smile of the Child” by approval of the Hellenic Police. When an AMBER Alert is issued in Greece, the Greek Police inform the public via posters, SMS, social media, radio, TV and highway signs.
