On May 25th, Colonel Jan Rybár, Head of the Missing Persons Unit of the Czech Police Presidium, will officially be appointed as president of AMBER Alert Europe’s Police Expert Network on Missing Children. The Police Expert Network consists of over 50 law enforcement experts from 17 European countries. The goal of the Network is to bring together law enforcement experts in the field of missing children.

In order to save more missing children across Europe, members can quickly contact and consult each other about missing children cases. The Police Expert Network on Missing Children also provides specialist support, advice and training to its members.

“The presidency is perceived as a prestigious engagement and as an acknowledgment of the work of the Czech police in the search for missing children”, Rybár comments on his appointment. Rýbar will be the first president of the Police Expert Network.

“I would like to personally extend my thanks to Jan for his commitment”, says Frank Hoen, Founder and Chairman of AMBER Alert Europe. “Our rotating Presidency is a strength and I look forward to working with Jan on further developing the Police Expert Network during his term.”
