AMBER Alert Europe’s Police Network on Missing Children expands to 11 countries

AMBER Alert Europe’s Police Network on Missing Children keeps growing stronger every day. The network now consists of 34 law enforcement experts from 11 countries: The Netherlands, Ireland, UK, Slovak Republic, Czech Republic, France, Luxembourg, Poland, Estonia, Switzerland and Italy.

In 2014, AMBER Alert Europe launched the Police Network on missing children. Goal of the network is to allow law enforcement experts to quickly contact and consult colleagues in other EU member states about missing children cases or to exchange best practices. AMBER Alert Europe’s Police Network is led by Charlie Hedges. Charlie Hedges is acknowledged as one of UK’s foremost experts on missing and abducted children.

Online platform

Recently AMBER Alert Europe developed an online platform for law enforcement experts on missing children. The platform provides experts with an always up-to-date overview of relevant information on AMBER Alert systems in Europe. It is password protected and only accessible for official law enforcement experts.
